NASA uses massive simulator to prepare astronauts for 2028 moon landing — Clermont Sports news

NASA is using the world’s largest motion simulator of its kind to help astronauts prepare for the agency’s planned return to the lunar surface in 2028.The Vertical Motion Simulator at NASA’s Ames Research Center in California recreates conditions crews could experience while piloting a commercial lunar lander to the moon’s surface. NASA says the simulator allows astronauts and engineering teams to practice parts of a lunar landing before crews make the real trip.
